hello....i know that i haven't updated in days....my bloggy is so dead
but here's just sth - i think i won't post anything until after promos unless there is sth of real substance to post
screwed up my presentation....didn't know why also....just not in the mood to present
anyways....wanna say thanks to Ee Lyn for spending so much time on the Flash animation or whatever u call it (even though she nvr reads blogs). To Ely, Nat (especially) and JW, thanks for sacrificing the time yesterday night to do a 4 min 8 sec video which took like 5 hrs to plan....i still thought we could end by 6pm....and especially to Nat who reached home at 11.30pm...haha
OBS motto is so cool!!! To serve, to strive and not to yield....yay, my dad just brought home a OBS badge for me. I just realised that the same motto is used in OCS...i wanna go there...it's a nice place....those who had been in NCC would probably agree
lastly, i would like to wish Manchester United good luck for their Champions League match against Celtic at about 12.10am tmr morn.....and also against Benfica some time later....these 2 are must-win matches
Man U are coming to Malaysia next summer....maybe shld get tickets for the match.

Sch hols past real fast....it's already Thursday and half a morning is gone....
China and Singapore played out a 0-0 draw at National Stadium last night.....it was the first and most probably the last soccer match that I watched at the National Stadium.
There was quite a lot of people.....the grandstand was full of PRC supporters but there were Singapore fans there as well. My dad and I managed to find good seats just directly opposite the grandstand. It was still 6.45pm so we had to wait another 45 mins before kick-off.
I didn't know what the heck was I thinking about cos I mistook Daniel Bennett for Egmar Goncalves and wondering what in the world was a striker doing by trying to play at left-back. I didn't realise it until the match was 30 mins old.
There were chants of "Referee kayu!" every now and then. Whenever the referee issued a yellow to Singapore, Singapore supporters would chant "Referee kayu". Whenever China got a yellow (and a red in injury time), Singapore fans would be cheering. They say that China are sore losers, but they behave like sore losers. Where is the logic? Won't we taught not to jeer at opponents? But there were jeers whenever China's No. 13 touched the ball cos home fans accused him of faking an injury. On top of that, people were shouting "****!" I don't see the China fans doing that, so why are Singapore fans doing that? Soccer in the Singapore mentality? Maybe.....
Soccer aside, it's time to be serious.....MUG

finally i'm blogging again
went to RSAF Open House today....evaded the crowd cos today was only for students
Fokker-50 joyride was fun.....we were flying at only 1000 feet above ground level, essentially just beside the clouds....didn't go higher than that
before the flight, they gave us a safety briefing about where to exit the plane in case of an emergency....then they showed us how to use the EPOS (or sth like that)....this is like the oxygen mask in any commercial jet but the one on the Fokker-50 looks a bit like...er...funny. Then, boarding passes were issued and we moved to the boarding area
the plane came and it looked kind of small but when we boarded it, it wasn't as bad as we thought. Take-off was kind of scary cos the plane would suddenly bank and ascend without warning. The Fokker-50 is a former commercial plane bought by the RSAF as utility transport plane and the interior is exactly like any present commercial jet, but the ceiling is a bit low leh...i think about 3 people knocked on it when standing up.
we flew over Pulau Ubin and to the Southern Islands.....we saw Jurong Island, Pulau Semakau (i think) and Sentosa. On the way back, we flew over Paya Lebar MRT station and Singapore Post. The landing was much smoother than present commercial jets...
bless my new Nikon Coolpix L3 camera....managed to take 2 videos on board as well as some good pics, plus the landing of an F-16 at the end of the aerial display. The Fokker-50 ride was the highlight for today
oops...it's 5.30pm now...off to play soccer
