sianz sch holiday is so dry.

morning wake up eat b'fast, play FIFA 07, do math hol hmwk, eat lunch, slp, play FIFA, watch TV, eat dinner, do math hol hmwk, and until recently, late-nite FIFA, then finally slp. and the whole sequence repeats itself the nxt day.

if virtual reality can be believed, i've gt a suggestion for Manchester United should they take on Barcelona in this season's UEFA Champions League: When playing at Camp Nou, play a 4-3-3 formation. Leaving the back four untouched, play Carrick on the right, Scholes in the centre and Giggs on the left. for the front 3, Ronaldo occupies the right, Rooney the centre and Saha the left.

When having a home game at Old Trafford, play 4-3-1-2. Again, leave the back four untouched. For the centre 3, Ronaldo, Carrick and Giggs take those positions. the 1 in the "hole" can be taken by Scholes, and Rooney and Saha for the front 2.

well i've been winning matches against Barcelona, AC Milan and Lyon while experimenting wif a 4-3-1-2 formation, and for Barcelona only, 4-3-3. ofc provided players like Vidic, Giggs, Carrick and Scholes can score from the centre circle in real life, if nt the formation will nt be tt effective for a 2-0 or 4-1 win.

and since virtual reality is virtual reality, these formations might nt work in real life, cos United's natural formation is still 4-4-2. and the above 3 paragraphs is an analysis done by a bored kid-who-supports-Manchester-United from s'pore.

*yawn* everything's so dry.

80th post...

just arrived back home this morning after overnite coach from Penang.

after this trip, i've taken a grand total of 3 overnite coach rides...yay.

ride to Penang was gd save for a leaky aircon. ride back was excellent cos there was no one in the spacious front seat and i made myself comfortable there.

for anybody going there nxt time, stay at the 4-star City Bayview hotel and have dinner at Red Garden, which is just 3 mins sauntering from the hotel, between 5.30pm to 6.30pm if u don't like spending a lot of money but crave nice food and a good ambience. there's another place at the seafront along Gurney Drive but avoid there when there's inclement weather. and maybe u shouldn't go to the Esplanade foodcourt.

City Bayview has a swimming pool 3.5m deep and it scared the shyt out of me initially. now i knw how fishes feel. but all in all i made 6 dives to the bottom. now the Olympic-size pools with depth of 1.8m is nothing. but a check on the net said tt the world's deepest pool is called Nemo 33 in Uccle, Belgium, with a depth of 33m and the shallowest is 5m. it is a recreational diving centre though.
