so i took a little 2D1N sojourn to the federal capital of Malaysia, travelling alone again for my 3rd trip there in a year.
basically it was just to breathe some fresh air and do what i missed out on last time
and of course for book-hunting
would have liked to stay for longer, but i have other committments.
it was nice visiting kuala selangor on a guided tour to bukit melawati and the fireflies with a group of caucasians. got bitten by a silver leaf monkey though nothing serious..i reckon he loves french beans too much. though i've seen fireflies before, the ones at sungei selangor really made the only thing short of calling it xmas day snow and cold.
tasik titiwangsa was peaceful, away from the main tourist draws although it's listed as one itself, and yut kee's kopi kau was too kau for me. bangsar village's bisou bake shop has a really nice cafe area to enjoy the nicest cupcakes i've ever tasted in my life with a cup of hot soya milk with hazelnut syrup.
bukit bintang at 11.30pm..i'd have to remember it in a long time to come
