Came back from a whole day of "officiating" at the 33rd Pesta Sukan National Taekwondo Championships not long ago........it was sooooo damn fun!!!
morning was like damn sian cos I was assigned to camera duty....and that is the worst....but it was very good in the afternoon cos I got the chance to sit at the recorder's table and get right into the heat of things....
could have signed up to spar this year but a 15-year-old wearing black belt gi is like sth really WRONG.....should be wearing junior black this year but my gi was too small....
nvm....at least my instructor said that she would ask me to spar next year....at least get a feel of the "hostile" atmosphere this year before sparring next year
but quite a number of people were injured today....some even needed a stretcher
haha...learnt a lot of new sparring techniques today
Man U won Watford 2-1 and Arsenal lost to Manchester City 0-1.....so that equates to Man U sitting comfortably atop the Premiership table......Let the Man U demolition of other teams continue!!!Nil Sine Labore

wow....my blog is like so dead lar....haven't posted anything over the weekend cos there was practically nothing
Promos are coming, so my blogging frequency has reduced dramatically. Moreover....I'm lookin' for sth of substance to post.
went swimming with JW today to train for the swimming on Fri.....but that PE 'cher say LEP students no need to report for swimming....don't know whether true or not leh
swimming was damn fun lar.....swim until my hands and legs have no energy left.....and sth really funny happened when JW and me were changing after our very gd exercise.....
(what's that triangle???)then walked to KFC to grab whip potato.....just realised that medium whip potato looks so small to me now
LEP elective is quite ok lar.....haha
spent like $5 plus today.....need to cut spending liao.....

feeling very sleepy now.....wanna go to sleep already
omg....today was a long day.....tkd from 3.30 - 8pm.......but it was damn fun lar....cos we had bonding games
(and LLS started crapping that the teacher i/c must give excuse letter...talk crap) So we played lots of bonding games......like duh...if not why is it called "tkd bonding time"
My grp got off to a good start but then we started losing one game and getting second for the rest right up to the second-last game.....where with only one of our precious little eggs left, we overcame the odds to qualify for the finals.....water volleyball....and we won the other team
So the fun came.....we could throw eggs at the losing team but we didn't cos we r nice ppl.....then "BIG SPLASH"......and the 2 instructors were splashed with water
reached home at around 8.45pm and only started work at 10.30pm cos i was like so sleepy.......argh....still can't decide what to do for SS!!! Kashmir and Sri Lanka are good topics to research on......i shall do geog and SS tmr cos geog is like sooooo easy lar
Still have Comparative Economics assignment.....time to chiong tmr cos i won't be out the whole day except for night time
oh-kay....shall end here today.....go to sleep....it's 12.15am on Sat morn

crap.....i think i self-destructed for LA test today. When i got the paper, i was like "omg.....how am i supposed to do this???" Spent like 20 mins deciding on which question to do while Kirky and Sherman had already started their essays. I seriously could not decide on which question to do until I decided to do question 2 cos my qn 2 real life examples were more solid.
Promotional Exams are coming.....time to get serious and cut out all the crap.....must start peaking now OR ELSE...

didn't blog yesterday, so I shall post something now
It's 10.57am on a nice Monday morning....and SS lesson is on....doing research for SS individual assignment due next week....oh-kay...i know i'm not being guai here by blogging during lesson, but i need a break after reading so much of Wikipedia material
yesterday went cross-island from Pasir Ris to Jurong to visit my grandma...as well as my cousins.....had quite a good time....omg...i just realised that i'm 15 years senior than my youngest cousin, who was born on National Day....how i wish i was younger
Lance is busy-bodying now.....gotta help him turn his head to look at JW's com instead of mine....can't type with 1 hand
Bell just rang, and it's Maths now....omg
waaaaaahhh......History project, SS project, elective week coming and it's 2 months to the TA Promotional Exams
damn....time to be serious and study....must get all grade B so that i can get a Manchester United jersey
Alex Ferguson shouldn't even sign Michael Carrick.....at least save that 18.6 million sterling pounds and use it bid 34 million sterling for Diarra

omg.....i'm so engrossed with spamming KC that i didn't even know my battery was running out....thankfully i saw it in time.....shimon is a GUAI boy cos he spammed KC for the first time in many months....haha
ok....ended KC spamming....now to do History.....looks like have to get an extension
went to Changi Airport today.....had spaghetti with clams and tomato sauce for dinner at Wild Olives......their seafood spaghetti still better
then went for tea at Changi Kopitiam.....the tea like kind of bland today

don't know what to write for the title of my post...maybe should follow pipette...don't even bother putting a title
omg...tkd training today was like so slack...spent so much time discussing on the collar pin for tkd, like what colour, etc. So the final colour that most people selected is red and silver (looks quite nice though...i mean colour combination....have yet to see final product). Then they showed us a sample of the tkd pull-over...damn....it's a THICK pull-over for sunny Singapore. ?!?!?!?!...sth wrong
then we did aerobics....screw aerobics.....i hate it. I rather do pattern to train for Expose 2007. At least doing pattern is better.....aerobics are like so boring....don't know for what purpose.
then we had early dismissal cos tmr have to officiate at sparring competition....but i'm not going....i will be going (to officiate.....not to spar cos my foot still injured) at the next round. They call it CIP. Wasted a chance to spar again....nvm...next year I will sign up.
ok.....don't know what else to say.....one Friday (and also one week) has ended....

shall post fast for today....before tablet battery goes flat....i have 40 more mins
LEP test just ended.....and it's time to relax and enjoy myself.....spent the whole of yesterday revising for this test......screw it!!! forgotten one sentence of relative importance, no wonder my answer look kind of weird.
fingers crossed for the results....I will be happy if I pass
Should have ran 2.4km re-test today......it looks damn fun lar, esp since I haven't ran for so long......played soccer yesterday with a 3/4-recovered right foot.....finally got back my lost touch. Feels great to be able to get the ball "glued" to your feet
just realised that i need to start running again....physical fitness declined quite a bit.....couldn't last that long while playing bball today......*sigh* my dear right foot with its hurting bone...still haven't fully recovered
ok.....com prompting me with "low battery".....still have tkd training......omg

omg.....it's 1.05am on a Thursday morning and i haven't gone to bed....suddenly don't feel like sleeping at all.
actually i don't know what to blog about now, except that i wanna screw my 6610i camera....it refuses to take a decent shot for me during the NDP fireworks display.....(the camera did take a fairly decent one though)
seems like a lot of people know about my wish to return to NCC (Air).......yup, i really want to go back......but that means i will have to sacrifice certain things like the chance of getting a medal at Expose 2007 for TJC Taekwondo........but on one hand, i feel like going back to NCC, on the other hand, i wanna get a medal.
heck with all that medal talk......at least tkd might have night training before Expose next year and that means i can join them after i'm done with NCC on Friday......maybe this will work out

just came back from cousin's hse.....and from NDP celebrations
luckily, my cousin's hse is at Paya Lebar and not far from National Stadium, at least can get to see the Red Lions, the fly-past (those F-16s flew directly over his hse en route to the stadium) and the fireworks. Guard-of-Honour contingents are the best......can get to wear No. 1 uniform on National Day is seriously a very big honour.
Apache AH-64 choppers look so cool!!! I love those attack helicopters......hope that nxt time join RSAF can be a pilot of the Apache....if not engineer also not bad.....but must get my eyesight sorted out first....and all the more my return to Air is important so that nxt time have higher chance to join RSAF.
NDP is so fun!!! haha
off to do Topic 13 hw 1.....

i am lost......seriously lost
lost in thoughts......why the heck did i quit NCC when i came to TA? Now it's like kind of hard to re-join.....don't even know if tkd ppl will allow me to skip Friday training....feel like kicking myself.....
i didn't even know that i would miss those times with NCC......i thought that after coming to TA, my short "career" with NCC will just be history. 2 years is seriously too short. i want at least another year. Seeing those people march in today's parade makes me nostalgic of the old times...
CPT (NCC) Chew a.k.a Mr Chew (VS guys should know who he is) would surely be glad to have me back....cos Air is currently short of manpower.....imagine only 9 Sec 3s running the whole unit??? my gosh!!!
i don't care if i have to wait until next year to get promoted.......or not being promoted at all (cos the odds are against me being promoted to 3SG at the end of the year)....i just wanna get in there and have fun.......
and hopefully re-build Air to its glory days of the past
memories...of a living past | 10:41 PM | commentlink
let me blog about National Day celebrations....cos i have nth else better to do
parade was screwed up.....slow march become fast march when the flag was brought inparade commander forgot to give 1 command......that's quite a huge mistake....seriouslyconcert was good on the whole.....nth much to say about thatthen i went to White Sands.....and met strange people who shouldn't be saying "hello" to me......i don't even know 'em and they are saying "hello" for no reason
then i went to National Library.....and busied myself with books on the Cunard Line flagship --- QE2 as well as New Paper extracts dating back to 1994. Except from meeting moderately strange people at the library, the rest was ok...
reached home at 6.30pm, take dinner, and now must prepare to go to my neighbour's hse for birthday party.......it's a long and busy day
i seriously wanna join NCC (Air) again....suddenly feel as though sth is misssing after leaving NCC for 8 months. can my wish be granted???

oh well......Monday is over.....and tmr is National Day eve.....celebration time
it has been a good day on the whole.........2 good things happened
1) LEP poem "test" --- I got 100 (for the first time)
2) Basketball --- I won JW in a 1-on-1 match (for the first time)....but maybe this cannot count as a victory cos there were a lot of people "interrupting" our match and JW couldn't go in to do a lay-up......(but I didn't know why I could)
i hope these are good signs and that my "bad times" are overgd luck to those NCC (Air) cadets in VS who are in tmr's parade.....keep Air proud guys (should have continued with NCC when i came to TA....at least can get 2nd Sergeant by now)
still remember the time when i was Sec 2 and took part in some parade (actually everyone had to take part)......can't remember which parade though......let's see.....i was in for Speech Day at Sec 1, maybe its National Day eve last year.....gotta stand like statues for the 30-min parade.....so everyone was hoping for wet weather programme
NCC Day parade last year was super fun......other than the fact that they only provided lunch to the Guard-of-Honour.....screw them lar.......went without lunch on the rehearsal day and on the actual day itself
ok....why am i blogging so much on parades and more parades....the best parade is the NDP one, right??? haha
ok.....i think that's all for today......i THINK (maybe will blog again later)

time flies......it's already August.......somehow, December 2005 seems like yesterday only....
finally completed Comparative Economics in the afternoon......don't know why i'm in celebrating mood, most probably because of the upcoming National Day holiday........time to visit National Library again (but this time to read the books there and not to revise for any tests)
so 'appy....Man U won the opener of the LG Amsterdam Tournament 3-1 against Jose Mourinho's former club - FC Porto.
(screw the Dutch FA if they are going to report Paul Scholes and Rooney to The FA)nth much to do tonight, other than catching up on sleep......pipette has gone to watch some concert......hope he enjoys it
when will my right foot FULLY recover???
must get to my fullest potential and score good grades for the TA Promotional Exams if i want to get a Man U jersey
memories...of a living past | 9:22 PM | commentlink
half a Sunday gone......and i'm still doing Comparative Economics.....damn
finished the first draft of my concept map at 12.45am this morning, and now just revised the whole thing to (hopefully) improve on it.....its a slightly better version and i hope Mr Bala is happy with it.....haha
now to proceed with the actual concept map that i'm gonna hand in
my cousin is coming later.........yipeee!!!! ok, i'm being lame here but never mind......-.- -.- -.-
leg still injured, no signs of the bone recovering fully in the next couple of days......shoot. that means i can't start going on practise runs yet
PEACE is the word...

screw it..........why is Comparative Economics so hard? Its friking hard to come to a decision on "yes" or "no" for the answers to the questions in the Singapore case study........
just went to play soccer today. damn!!! lost my "magic". The ball used to glue to my feet but after two weeks of not playing, it just doesn't "listen" to me. anyways, playing with a half-recovered right foot is a mistake......my speed was reduced thanks to the lingering pain in the bone.....can't run properly. This is the most major injury that i've suffered from sparring after like 5 years in taekwondo......my right foot went totally numb after a collision with my friend's elbow. (Tip: when u r sparring, use ur elbow as a means of defence cos it will make your opponent's foot hurt)
i'm still waiting for the chance to go for my 2nd "dan" grading. I got my (junior) black belt on 20 July 2003 and its already 5 August 2006. My 2nd "dan" grading was supposed to be held on 20 July 2005 but the instructor at my previous taekwondo club kept on telling the bunch of (junior) black belts that we are not ready for the sparring at the grading.........(of course we are not ready cos we kept on doing aerobics & hardly trained for sparring)
lucky that i got into TJC. Taekwondo @ TJC is like so fun and training is taken seriously. Have to thank my black belt J2 senior who helped me improve on my pattern and kicking. I learnt a lot from him (have to wish him all the best for his A-levels).
well......i guess that's all for today.....gotta continue with IS assignment.

anyways, i have no choice cos my foot is still injured
its like 12am now and i still don't feel like sleeping......maybe it seems that i'm enjoying the atmosphere of a Friday night........it feels great
just lead Germany to the Miniclip World Championship title........thrashed Poland 12-0, and won Italy 2-0 en route to the finale with England......and won it 4-1......all hail Michael Ballack

yes!!!!! its a Friday......and i'm so happy
LEP poem "test" is finally over.......spent like 5 hrs over a period of 3 - 4 days just to prepare for a 20-min "test"..........but it is worth the trouble
(at least can prove to the 'cher that i can memorise poems, even though Kirky memorised more poems than me this time round)Went back to VS after such a long while............
only to find out that NCC (Air) is experiencing some difficulties...its a long storycan't believe it......what's wrong?????ahhhhh...........must do bio assignment now.....that's all for today
(maybe i will blog again later)

hope can turn the tables around for tomorrow's "test"

aiiiiiiiiiiiiii...........stoning now.....don't know what to do
must memorise 8 LEP poems by tmr
(the 'cher gotta be joking), and i've only done 4 so far...
this is crazy....
If i knew that
LA presentation wasn't today, i could have spent
(a LOT of) time last night memorising poems. But anyways, i'm planning to memorise 6 poems and forfeit the last 2. (might as well huh.....since those 2 are like soooo long)
the bone in my leg is still hurting, and it was friking pain this morning........if this goes on, i will have to skip PE and tkd tmr.....*sob*
can walk but can't run.....wow

oh...this is the 3rd time i am posting in a single day....(did i beat anyone's record?)
taekwondo training just ended......and so had sparring. damn.....didn't get the chance to spar with my J2 senior cos he was having NAPFA test.
anyways......its a blessing in disguise. Some bone in my leg is hurting and i can hardly walk (hopefully will be better tomorrow). If this continues, i think i would have to miss Friday's PE (which i don't want to...)
sparring was fun, especially since i haven't sparred for quite some time. it rox ok......u either kick or get kicked (anyways, u will get kicked at least once....its unavoidable). Wore adidas padding for the first time after so many years in tkd.
ok......enough of tkd. Hope i have time to go back to VS on Friday. miss that place, especially my frenz from NCC (Air). those were good memories.......
