tkd outing to sentosa was today? no, yesterday? depends on how u look at it. it's like 5 mins past midnite on Thursday morning.
the sentosa express trains are quite nice. they would be even nicer to ride on if there are fewer ppl...
we went to some beach (either palawan or tanjong) and just played there. Last yr's seniors were invited. 3 of 'em came. haha...zheng xun and his "botak" head. if there was one thing i learnt today, it's that of the phrase "easier said than done". we played touch rugby on the sand with very simple rules, but once the game started, all of us were finding it tough. black belt vs. non-black belt. we lost 3-5. then the guys played frisbee and daidee after we were too tired to continue touch rugby.
listened to zheng xun and wen xiong talk about life in NS. sounds quite interesting. and reynold got suan-ed by 'em.
zheng xun and me were practising backhook (aka reverse kick) with the volleyball. we threw the ball vertically up and tried to hook it as it came down. ok, at least tt gave us some form of entertainment when there was nth to do. i still need more practice in accuracy and timing and control of momentum. can be quite bad if u fall when executing the kick, esp. in the sand.
OBS part II. got sunburned again. but outing was fun
(if u minus the total expenditure)

i didn't have long to wait. Competition's over at last.
a great team won't be a great team if ur team members aren't great. A great team won't be a great team if ur instructors aren't great. Ditto, if u dun have great seniors.
first of all, the good news: Black belt team won the silver medal.
secondly, i want to really really say a big "thank you" to Qian Hui and Wan Ting for being such great team members. Thanks for helping me win a medal on this unforgettable day. I know that my pattern sucked quite a bit but i will improve in time for Expose.
thirdly, not forgetting Madam and Kelvin sir. Thanks for ur constant advices.
fourth, thanks to Reynold for helping us to see our pattern even though u were busy with the brown belt team.
fifth, to all those who supported me in one way or another, thank you so much. In no order of merit, thanks to cheryl julia, weixin, kelly, kimberly, yiheng, junxiang, daryl, nathaniel and the whole of TJ taekwondo, especially the blue belt guys (jian wei, zhi kai, chun kai and ah lee). did i leave anyone out?
to this special grp of people, this victory belongs to all of you. i wouldn't be able to achieve my medal without constant support from u guys and girls.
