i will do this blog a severe injustice if i dun post smth before the turn of the yr.
went for family dinner at Compass Point's Jack's Place Restaurant today to usher in the new yr. food's great. they had this new yr's eve menu that was money (quite) well-spent.
actually this dinner shld have been a no-significant-meaning-dinner on 21 Dec between my dad and i becos my mom was having a gathering with her course-mates and teacher tt nite. but i ended up having a cold and sore throat, so it was steamed egg with rice for dinner and then a visit to the doc's. pwned. so the best Christmas present this yr? getting sick 3 days before Christmas dinner...
cool i slacked off an entire holiday. damn.
alright. time for some shyt.

seriously i've done no shyt at all except math holiday hmwk. and just in time to realise that this year-end holiday has past the halfway point.
[in the process of recollecting those 12 days (it could have been 2 days added on to the 12)]
apart from getting some classroom experience like observing how chemistry is taught in chinese, playing soccer during break and lunch plus breaking half of the teacher's table while playing arm wrestling (yeah we managed to get if fixed ourselves, thankfully), visiting a place that u visited a decade ago makes u nostalgic.
i swear the items arranged in their shops are so messy that...nvm, shall nt talk abt getting cheated of 30 f***ing bucks. certain things, it's best to remain silent and curse the correct party.
so we came and went, and in the process appreciate what we have and loathe what we don't have, like the cold weather (just kidding...). point is, different parts of the world offer u different things, and that's the whole purpose of travel. otherwise no one will coin the phrase "travel broadens the mind".
