80th post...

just arrived back home this morning after overnite coach from Penang.

after this trip, i've taken a grand total of 3 overnite coach rides...yay.

ride to Penang was gd save for a leaky aircon. ride back was excellent cos there was no one in the spacious front seat and i made myself comfortable there.

for anybody going there nxt time, stay at the 4-star City Bayview hotel and have dinner at Red Garden, which is just 3 mins sauntering from the hotel, between 5.30pm to 6.30pm if u don't like spending a lot of money but crave nice food and a good ambience. there's another place at the seafront along Gurney Drive but avoid there when there's inclement weather. and maybe u shouldn't go to the Esplanade foodcourt.

City Bayview has a swimming pool 3.5m deep and it scared the shyt out of me initially. now i knw how fishes feel. but all in all i made 6 dives to the bottom. now the Olympic-size pools with depth of 1.8m is nothing. but a check on the net said tt the world's deepest pool is called Nemo 33 in Uccle, Belgium, with a depth of 33m and the shallowest is 5m. it is a recreational diving centre though.
